Amazing ‘camouflage’ art
AN artist has spawned an amazing hop-tical illusion — by turning five models into a frog.
Johannes Stoetter, 35 — named bodypainting world champion in 2012 — transforms human subjects into objects which are inspired by the natural world.
The creations can take up to eight hours to paint and five months’ painstaking planning.
For his latest piece Johannes, of South Tyrol, Italy, has rendered a tropical tree frog — where five people recreate its body, head, legs and arms.
Johannes said: “Bodypainting is special because the artwork is alive and can move.
“The skin is a very comfortable base to paint on.”
