PEACHES Geldof’s funeral will take place on Easter Monday — at the same church as mum Paula Yates.

Grieving dad Sir Bob, 62, will give the eulogy at the ceremony, which will be a private affair for friends and family.

The mass will be held at a church near Davington Priory, the family home in Kent.

Met’s vow on PC Yvonne Fletcher

THE Met Police yesterday vowed to find PC Yvonne Fletcher’s killer, 30 years after she was shot dead.

Her family joined friends and colleagues in remembering the officer — gunned down aged 25 outside the Libyan embassy in 1984.

Speaking at the memorial service, Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said: “We lost a colleague, and we’re determined to catch the person responsible.”

Relatives laid flowers at the spot where she was hit by a sniper from the embassy while policing a rally in St James’s Square, central London.

A STAR Wars-style gadget which lets callers see a 3D hologram of the person they are talking to is set to become a reality.

The device will make live images appear to float in mid-air, just like in the sci-fi blockbuster.

It works by using two lenses to capture 3D footage of a user, then project this on to a screen of water vapour at the other end.

Rock icon Jim’s book sells for £125,000

A NEVER-before-seen book containing the final drug-fuelled ramblings of The Doors icon Jim Morrison has sold for £125,000.

The notes and poems were written before the singer was mysteriously found dead in a bath in Paris in 1971, aged 27.

One reads: “Films are collections of dead pictures given artificial insemination.”

Another says: “There’s a guerrilla war going on for the mind of man.”

The last entry reads: “Art is a compromise, a vast midland, it attempts to rejoin subject and object.”
